About Tools & Deals Hub

What This Site Is
Tools & Deals Hub is a collection of free online calculators covering personal finance, health, travel, careers, shopping, and entertainment. Every tool is free to use, requires no signup, and runs entirely in your browser β your inputs and results are never sent to our servers.
Two of our tools β the Income Tax Calculator and the Salary & Take-Home Calculator β produce genuinely different results depending on your country, because tax law differs by country. Those tools support 24 countries with each country's own progressive tax brackets. Our other calculators (BMI, compound interest, discount percentages, and so on) work the same way everywhere, because the underlying math has no nationality.
Who We Are
This site is written and maintained by the Tools & Deals Hub Editorial team. We are not financial advisers, physicians, or tax professionals, and we do not present ourselves as such. What we do is translate published figures from authoritative sources β government tax schedules, World Health Organization guidance β into transparent, verifiable calculators, and document exactly which formula and which figures each tool uses so you can check our work.
Where Our Data Comes From
Tax brackets and rates. The progressive tax brackets used by our tax and salary calculators reflect the published schedules of each country's tax authority β for example the IRS (United States), HMRC (United Kingdom), and the Income Tax Department (India). Each calculator page states on the page which tax year its brackets correspond to, and notes what the calculation excludes (for example, US state taxes or UK National Insurance are listed as applying separately).
Health thresholds. Our BMI calculator implements both classification standards published by the World Health Organization: the international cut-offs (overweight β₯ 25, obese β₯ 30) and the Asia-Pacific cut-offs (overweight β₯ 23, obese β₯ 27.5) recommended for people of Asian descent. The standard in use is always shown alongside the result, and you can switch between them.
Financial formulas. Tools like the compound interest, EMI, and mortgage calculators use the standard published formulas for those calculations β there is nothing proprietary or estimated about them. Each tool's page explains the formula it applies.
How Tools Are Built and Reviewed
Every calculator states its formula and its data year on its own page, in the "How it works" section. When official figures change β tax schedules are typically revised annually β we update the underlying data and the year label together, so the page never claims to be more current than its data actually is. If you spot a figure that has gone stale or a result that looks wrong, please tell us via our contact page; corrections are the fastest way this site improves.
What Our Calculators Cannot Tell You
Our results are estimates for orientation and education, not professional advice. A tax result here is not a tax filing; real liability depends on deductions, credits, and circumstances no general calculator can know. A BMI category is a screening signal, not a diagnosis. Before making decisions that depend on these numbers β filing taxes, taking a loan, changing a health regimen β verify with the relevant authority or a qualified professional.
