How It Works
The percentage calculator handles three types of percentage problems:
1. X% of Y β multiply Y by X/100. Use this to find a tip, discount amount, or tax.
2. X is ?% of Y β divide X by Y, then multiply by 100. Use this to find what fraction one number is of another.
3. % Change β subtract the original from the new value, divide by the original, and multiply by 100. Use this to calculate price increases, growth rates, or any change over time.
